What we collect
You can read the public library without creating an account. If you subscribe to the newsletter, we collect your email address and subscription status. If you create an account, we collect your email address, the profile details you choose to add, and reading progress used to sync your library.
If you send a work inquiry, we collect the contact details and project context you provide. The site may also collect basic, aggregated usage information through Vercel Analytics. This helps us understand which pages are useful without building an advertising profile about you.
Information stored on your device
The site can store reading progress, saved articles, display preferences, and account session information in browser storage or cookies. You can clear this information through your browser. Clearing it may sign you out or remove progress that has not been synced.
How we use information
We use information to deliver the newsletter, operate accounts, sync reading progress, respond to inquiries, secure the site, and understand overall site performance. We do not sell personal information. We do not use reader information to build advertising profiles.
Services that help run the site
Internals Decoded uses service providers for hosting, database storage, email delivery, authentication, analytics, and operational notifications. Those providers process information only as needed to provide their services and are governed by their own privacy terms.
Retention and security
We keep information only for as long as it is needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the site. Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used, but no online service can promise absolute security.
Your choices
Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. You can also ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with your account or inquiry. Some records may need to be kept where required for security, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.
